How to Have a Tree at Festival of Trees
Nonprofits, organizations and business are invited to decorate and display a tree at the Festival of Trees at Town Center at Cobb in Kennesaw to promote nonprofit work. During November and December thousands of people will pass through the mall. The purpose of the trees is to bring awareness to the community providing them information on how they can support each nonprofit's work!
Each participating nonprofit will also have an opportunity to table an event on Opening Night of the Festival of Trees when Santa arrives at Town Center at Cobb on November 8. We will provide a table, linen and chairs on that evening and will invite media to attend Opening Night. Participating nonprofits are encouraged to invite their staff and Board of Directors with their families and let the community know how they can support their cause IN PERSON on that evening.
If you are a business, civic organization or other group who would like to sponsor a tree for a nonprofit, reach out to the nonprofit of your choice to work out those details, then come back here and get registered.
What you need to do:

Register as a tree sponsor with North Atlanta Events, registration fee is $100 (link below)

Provide an artificial tree (Must be at least 7 feet tall)

Provide decorations (No glass decorations)

Nonprofits: If you need support to obtain a tree, decorations and registration fee, you can partner with a local business, civic organization or individual.

Decide on a theme and name for the tree ASAP (Name will be displayed on a table next to the tree in a 8.5x11 display).

Decorate the tree at the mall ASAP.

Man a table next to your tree on Opening Night, Friday, November 8.

Provide Flyers/Brochures for duration of Festival of Trees on table next to nonprofit's tree. Your nonprofit will be responsible for refilling your flyer supply during the 6 1/2 week Festival of Trees.

Decorations should exhibit the very best and highest standard possible to represent the nonprofit and cause. The tree and nonprofit's message will be seen by thousands of people over the course of 6 1/2 weeks.
